How did we come up with the name, Style Wasteland?

Born and raised in small town Hot Springs, Arkansas, we're notoriously known to express ourselves through our personal style. Not many people from where we reside show any interest in fashion or style. Our blog is a way for us to stay motivated in following our dreams as well as share the passion we have with others who are equally as passionate about street style. We are just a couple of adventurous aquarius' trying to survive in a style wasteland.

It's your girl, Haley, also known as DJ H. Mart, and I am here to tell you a little bit about myself and the life I live. I was born on January 21st and brag about being an aquarius. I am an independent, stubborn, creative, hardworking girl that plans on moving out the the west coast to pursue my dream of having a career in art or fashion. I like lists, so here is my list of things I like: music, art, style, long boarding, music festivals, Jimi Hendrix, chinese food, dogs, flannels, coffee, coffee, and more coffee. Lately, I have been known to stay true to myself and express myself even when I know others won't agree. On my right arm, I have a tattoo of one of my favorite quotes that keeps me motivated to stay passionate about my love for art and fashion even when others put it down. I currently am living in Hot Springs, Arkansas, but I plan on moving out to the west coast to pursue my dream of becoming a fashion stylist and owning my own shop one day. Born on January 21st, I rep the fact that I am an aquarius. I am also known to have a slight obsession with mermaids, sushi, style, coffee, the ocean/beach, mexican blankets, wildflowers, music, art, and fashion.
